This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: This natural and ocean-themed necklace, with a touch of whimsy, is made of raw brass - covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering the brass components with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”, and some acrylic paints. The paperclip “chain” is made of patinated brass connectors. There is no closure - the necklace slips over your head.
Oceana Joya is a creature conjured by imagination - a creature motivated by joy and powered by sheer happiness. Oceana loves floating close to the ocean’s surface - and basking in the sun’s filtered rays, joined in her pulsating dance by seaweed fronds and happy school of fish.
