This necklace was inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: This natural and earthy necklace is a “mixed bag” of raw brass and ancient Roman glass mined in Afghanistan. All of the brass components of the necklace, including the focal eye, are covered in heavy Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open sky and salty air on Grand Manan Island - to “age”. The paperclip “chain” is made of patinated brass connectors. Small lobster-claw closure.
Our busy lives require deliberate, mindful pauses. The more we make them, the more profound and lasting the effects. Pausing helps us see and hear, in an actual rather than just a theoretical sense.
