COMPONENTS: I applied heavy Grand Manan patina to the raw brass fronds in these earrings - I coated them with natural ingredients and left them in the open, salty air at the Island. Earthy, raw, atmospheric, authentic.

July can be very hot on Grand Manan Island. There are days when an almost sultry humidity hangs over the island, as if waiting for some relief from the ocean breeze - but it does not come, and the air shimmers with the heat of the moment.
