These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I applied heavy Grand Manan patina to the raw brass components in these earrings - I coated them with natural ingredients and left them in the open, salty air at the Island. I distressed and then touched up the bottom ovals with some acrylic paint - with faint specks of white and with aqua blue. Earthy, raw, atmospheric, authentic.
These earrings will sway gently as you move, in a natural, sensual way.

At low tide, we walked along Seal Cove Sand Beach on Grand Manan Island - the air was salty and warm, a perfect July morning. Tide pools dotted the sand - tiny oceans destined to disappears again in just a few hours, as the ocean rushed in in to reclaim the beach. When I close my eyes, I can see those tide pools, shimmering in the hot July, morning air.
