These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: We distressed and then applied heavy Grand Manan patina to the raw brass components in these earrings - we coated them with natural ingredients and left them in the open, salty air at the Island. To the circles we applies some acrylic paint, in matte gold and aqua - in swirls and disordered circles. Earthy, raw, atmospheric, authentic.
These earrings will sway gently as you move, in a natural, sensual way.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires.
On the northwest end of Grand Manan Island, you will find a number of paper birch stands - to us, they look like ballet dancers lining up for their performance. Both innocent, almost naive-looking and yet, so strong. Sometimes, blue sky peaks through the branches and leaves - a sight to behold. One of these stands was an inspiration for these earrings.
