Earrings - "January at Whale Cove"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: These chandelier earrings are a muted, calm ensemble of textures and hues. They have a definitive presence but one that whispers rather than shouts. All of the brass components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by applying to them different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island, to “age”. The patina is raw - meaning that there will be slight alternations in it from time to time - as if the metal were alive.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Whale Cove on Grand Manan Island is a charming location in the northwest part of the island - come in the Fall prepared to see frolicking seals! In January, a brisk wind usually blows off the Bay of Fundy but if you are bundled up and brave enough for a walk, you will experience a feeling of peace and balance that is unsurpassed. From our experience, this is one of the best locations on the island for unusual driftwood - wear comfortable footwear as the rocky beach can be a little challenging. Just like in life - navigating some tough paths to experience fulfillment.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
